I’ve been a book lover since the moment I figured out how to read. When I was 11, I accidentally kickstarted a lifelong obsession with Stephen King after pulling Salem’s Lot off the shelf while my parents weren’t paying attention. (Thanks, Mom and Dad. No regrets.) One time, right out of college, I managed to meet him, but I stood there, totally starstruck with my mouth open, until he said, “WHAT?!” So far, he has not written about me.
I was introduced to audiobooks at 12, when my father lost his eyesight to diabetes and started getting “Books on Tape” from the Library for the Blind. I was fascinated by the storytelling, which eventually led me to narration.
I enjoy narrating across many genres, but when I’m off the clock and reading for pleasure, I gravitate toward thrillers, suspense, historical fiction, historical non-fiction, and (shocker) anything by Stephen King. My dream is to some day narrate one of his books. (Hey, Steve… if you’re out there… call me. I’ve been prepping since middle school.)
I work in my home studio in Nashville, TN, where I am also a radio personality. When I’m not working, I’m snuggling with two of the cutest pit bulls you’ve ever seen, raising money for good causes (see my St. Jude link below), or watching mind-rotting trash on TV.
